Merry Christmas from the Klomps!

I did the sweet, cheesy Christmas jammies thing and we made hot cocoa and we bribed the kids to take some photos. There was laughter, there was screaming– it was family. I love this wild little bunch, this home and this life God has given me.

2020 has been a helluva year for everyone, but it has awakened me more to who I am and who God is. I’ve been personally grown and stretched in ways that I never imagined I would. It was extremely uncomfortable, but never without a silver lining to pull me through. I made it through deep valleys of anxiety. Sometimes it paralyzed me from enjoying my life for weeks or months. I learned to tap into joy that only comes from the Spirit and not from my own circumstances or feelings. I am still learning about setting healthy boundaries for my family, relationships, and work. Still learning how to homeschool my kids, grow my business in a pandemic, and support my husband as he runs his California business from Texas.

I am ending 2020 VERY ready for a change (hello, no more lockdowns, please?) but also so grateful for all the hard stuff. Praying that the true meaning of Christmas– that comfort, joy, and GOD WITH US, is made so very real to you and yours this year. I love you guys.

We enjoyed having you at our wedding and as our photographer. You made us feel so comfortable in a chaotic environment. We are so excited to re-live everything through every wonderful moment that you captured. It means so much to us.
